We kicked things off with trusty mahogany furniture, dark wood bookshelves, and a comfy leather sofa – a timeless foundation. Oh, and let's not forget about the room's color scheme! I painted the walls a cozy, warm purple hue that my husband affectionately dubs "Jefferson Merlot."
